Dr. Judy Aoyagi, Director of Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience and Chair of AUHS Interprofessional Education (IPE) Committee, believes that introducing pharmacy students from early on in the PharmD curriculum with IPE and Practice training with other healthcare professional students will prepare them to work in a collaborative, team environment to provide highly effective patient-centered care. AUHS’ robust and innovative PharmD program equips future pharmacists to be part of a transformation and remain viable as part of a healthcare team.
