Academic Support
- A2i Tutoring Program: One-on-one and group tutoring across subjects including nursing, pharmacy, and general education.
- Academic Coaching: Personalized success plans, time management, and study strategies.
- Writing Assistance: Support for writing assignments, grammar, formatting (APA/MLA), and research guidance.
- Early Alert System: Faculty-student collaboration to address academic concerns early and provide timely interventions.
Student Advising & Retention
- Learning Enhancement Plans (LEP’s): Tailored plans to help students at risk of academic difficulty stay on track.
- Retention Coaching: One-on-one support to help you overcome obstacles and persist to graduation.
- Peer Mentoring: Peer-to-peer guidance from students who’ve successfully navigated AUHS life
Disability & Accessibility Services
AUHS is committed to providing equal access to all students.

- Career Coaching: Resume writing, LinkedIn branding, and interview preparation.

- Alumni Mentorship: Access experienced alumni for real-world insights and advice.
International Student Support
We understand the unique challenges and opportunities international students face.
- F-1 Visa Advising: Help with maintaining status, SEVIS updates, and understanding your responsibilities.
- CPT/OPT Guidance: Learn how to work in the U.S. during or after your studies.
- Cultural Support: Adjustment resources, workshops, and community-building activities.
Veteran & Military Services
- Certification for VA Benefits: We work with the Financial Aid Office to ensure timely processing.
- Credit for Prior Military Training: Up to 12 credits may be granted for qualified experience.
- Support: Veterans receive personalized attention throughout their academic journey.
Student Life & Co-Curricular Engagement
