Biography
Dr. Jose Candelario is a purpose-driven educator passionate about empowering students to achieve academic and personal transformation through science, faith, and service. With a rich background in anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and microbiology, he brings over two decades of experience integrating clinical relevance with foundational knowledge to prepare students for healthcare careers. His academic journey includes advanced training in chiropractic, human biology, educational technology, and theology—underscoring his holistic approach to student development.
Currently pursuing doctoral studies in Health Sciences and Educational Leadership at Liberty University, as well as an MBA at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Dr. Candelario is committed to continuous learning and innovation in higher education. He believes in building learning environments that are inclusive, rigorous, and faith-informed—where each student is valued, supported, and challenged to grow.
Dr. Candelario’s teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that education should not only inform the mind but also inspire the soul. He strives to equip future healthcare professionals with the critical thinking, ethical grounding, and resilience needed to lead and serve in a changing world. His ultimate goal is to leave a legacy of learning, leadership, and hope that echoes beyond the classroom.
