Genevieve (Ivy) Javaluyas, Ed.D., MS

Biography
Dr. Ivy Javaluyas has been a dedicated member of the American University of Health Sciences for over 23 years and currently serves as the Vice President of Operations. In this leadership role, Dr. Javaluyas oversees a broad range of institutional functions, bringing a strategic and integrative approach to operational excellence, student services, and compliance.
Throughout her tenure at the University, Dr. Javaluyas has demonstrated unwavering commitment to student success, institutional growth, and operational effectiveness. Previously serving as the Executive Director of Student Affairs, she led initiatives that advanced student engagement, academic achievement, and holistic development. Her leadership in refining and implementing student services policies has contributed significantly to the University’s supportive and mission-driven learning environment.
In addition to her role as the VP of Operations, she serves as the University’s Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO), where she actively participates in institutional and programmatic accreditation processes. She contributes to regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and strategic planning efforts, helping ensure alignment with accrediting bodies as well as state and federal requirements.
Dr. Javaluyas has over two decades of experience in higher education administration and operations in student affairs. She is widely recognized for her collaborative leadership style, operational insight, and ability to align institutional resources with strategic priorities. Her portfolio includes oversight of cross-functional teams, process optimization, policy development, and data-informed decision-making to support sustainable growth and service excellence.
