This status is effective for a period of up to five years. TRACS is recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDOE), the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), and the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).

Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education
The American University of Health Sciences School of Pharmacy’s Doctor of Pharmacy program has been given the status of Accredited with Probation by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, 190 South LaSalle Street, Suite 3000, Chicago, IL 60603, 312/664-3575; FAX, 866/228-2631, web site www.acpe-accredit.org, for compliance issues with the following standards: Standard No. 1: Foundational Knowledge and Standard No. 24: Assessment Elements for Section I: Educational Outcomes. Council For Higher Education Accreditation
The WASC Senior College and University Commission is a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. CHEA is a private, non-profit, national organization that coordinates accreditation activity in the United States. It carries forward a deep-seated belief that recognition of accrediting organizations should be a key strategy to ensure quality, accountability and improvement in higher education. Recognition by CHEA affirms that the standards and processes of accrediting organizations are consistent with quality, improvement and accountability expectations that CHEA has established.
